Our B&B Le Camelie is situated in an ancient house of the 1700 located in the historic village of Brissago Valtravaglia, a few km next to Lake Maggiore, and takes its name from the three secular Camellia Trees placed in the garden.
We are going to host you in a professional and polite way at the same time. The cozy rooms, the home-made breakfast and the large garden are the main features of our Bed & Breakfast: It is the best place to spend a quiet and relaxing time, fully immersed in nature and in a warm atmosphere and family.
Our B&B is also perfect for visiting the seven nearby lakes, including Lake Maggiore, which is only a few minutes away by car, and as a stopover for long journeys to other areas of Italy.
Our rooms reflect the old and rustic spirit of the house and are furnished with antique wood furniture restored by the owner, Adolfo. All rooms are quiet and comfortable, and are all equipped with private bathroom, independent entrance, microwave, fridge and kettle to prepare tea, coffee, or a relaxing herbal infusion. The Pink and Orange rooms also have a small kitchen each, for the exclusive use of the guests.
The largest of the three, the Orange room is a real apartment consisting of kitchen, bathroom and a large bedroom with a double bed and a small mezzanine with two other single beds. The outdoor veranda or porch is perfect to relax or to have breakfast breakfast in the open air.
Located at the ground floor, the Green room overlooks directly on a large terrace where you can have breakfast or just relax on the rocking or porch swing while enjoying the garden. The room has an independent entrance, a private bathroom, and a small corner with fridge, microwave and kettle.
The Blue room is comparable to an apartment with and entrance from the garden through a private patio, and can accomodate up to 4/5 guests. It has a full kitchen, big double bedroom, smaller bedroom with bunk beds and bathroom with washing machine.
Ornella and Adolfo have been managing their Bed and Breakfast near Lake Maggiore for almost 15 years. The professionalism is testified by all the positive reviews left by the guests in all main review or booking sites, and by the fact that every year there are returning guewsts and families back to our B&B.
